Our Story
We measure our success in actual lives changed. These stories are a testament to the difference that communities can make when we come together to create lasting change.
Perseverance
At the 4 Brighter Futures Foundation, we teach the philosophies of great thinkers like Dr. Benjamin E. Mays, Bayard Rustin, Audre Lorde, just to name a few. In those teachings, we encourage all of our scholars to continue to strive for greatness, despite the obstacles that seem to be present; knowing that their greatest strength lies within the most difficult challenge.
Motivation
Our country is still in a state of recovery from the worst pandemic in our lifetime: COVID-19. It takes community leaders like Clayton County School Board Member Jasmine Bowles and others, to motivate the masses that all is and will be well, if we do our part as a community to get it there. These are moments where the power of one is stronger when there are many.
Courage
Giving of yourself is one of the greatest gifts you could ever give someone. Ask Tiana Chi, 2019 graduate of North Atlanta High School and our first recipient of our Service Award. Tiana completed over 4500 hours of community service during her high school career. Community service is not a popular activity, but someone has to do it. It takes courageous men and women to step up to the plate and be the change agents within our communities.
